Fred Hamsayeh has worked in the Financial Services industry since 1997. He is currently a Retirement Plan Consultant at Retirement Benefits Group, a retirement planning firm serving clients ranging from high net worth individuals to non-profit and for profit corporations. Fred serves corporate and individual clients throughout the Western United States.
Prior to joining Retirement Benefits Group in May 2013, Fred worked as an Investment Advisory Representative and 401(k) consultant for Aegis Financial Group. There he worked with companies on their retirement plans, helping them manage their fiduciary duties. He has helped many retirement plan participants with investment selection, asset allocation, and portfolio optimization. Before entering the financial services industry, he served in the US Navy as a shipboard engineer in a support capacity during operations off Somalia.
Fred’s goal is to help plan sponsors manage their fiduciary responsibility, while providing participants with strategic retirement planning assistance. These services seek to increase monthly cash flow, preserve existing assets, reduce taxes, and improve risk adjusted returns. Fred holds his Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 registrations with LPL Financial.

Fred attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and graduated with a B.S. in Workforce Education and Development in 1997. On August 1, 2002, he completed the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) curriculum from the American College located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In 2006, Fred graduated from Pepperdine University with an MBA in Finance.
Fred received the CFP® certification in 2011 and is constantly learning to stay current with today’s dynamic financial environment. He believes that his commitment to continuing education will allow him to better serve his clients.

In his spare time, he enjoys travel, hiking, spending time with his 3 daughters and giving back to Veterans Groups. Fred is proud of his military service and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
